Low carb poppy seed roll mix for an easy-to-make diabetic sweet bread dessert.
When you had enough of the low carb sponges during your diabetic diet, this low carb poppy seed roll mix is for you.
Although this diabetic sweet bread flour mix can be used for many recipes, our favourite is the following:
Ingredients
- 400 g all purpose flour (you can replace that with low carb flours
- 500 g Low Carb Poppy Seed Roll Mix
- 350 g vegetable spread
- 150 to 200 ml of water
- 15 g yeast
Instructions
- Mix the ingredients and start kneading the dough.
- Once well combined, give the dough half an hour rest.
- Roll the dough and fill it with your desired poppy seed mixture.

Our suggestion is to use the same amount of milk alternative and ground [poppy seed. Pour the milk alternative in a saucepan, mix it with poppy seed and cook the mixture until the liquid is absorbed. You can add sour cherry pieces to make the filling juicier.
Alternatively, you can use cocoa powder and zero calorie sugar mix and fill the dough with that.
