Ground Garlic Powder Garlic Granules
Garlic, whether powdered or granulated can be added to any meal with plain meat to bring out a whole new level of flavouring. For you to achieve the granulated or powdered form of the garlic, you have to dry it first in order to remove the moisture that has been accumulated by the plant. From here, the dried garlic is then sliced in to smaller manageable portions of the required size. Only that the powdered garlic is ground to finer particles than the granulated The whole process is purely natural meaning that you do not have to add any anti cracking agents or preservatives.
The powdered garlic may be missing out on the outstanding properties of the fresh garlic but you don’t want to compromise this mouth-watering flavour for anything else. You can substitute the garlic powder with the granules any time just make sure to double the portion and vice versa. The ground and powdered garlic are both generated from dehydrated garlic meaning that the nutritional profile is similar. All in all, the Vitamin B6 and iron are consistent whether in dried or raw garlic.
The granulated or dried garlic best suits salad dressing. However, the granulated garlic will best do with soupy dishes. This is because the larger clumps are less likely to form clumps when added to liquidy foods unlike the powder. If you are considering a barbecue rub, settle for the granulated garlic too. They are easy to mix and forms a nice spice blend. Garlic powder is recommended for meals with a relatively shorter cooking span since they release the flavour rather fast as compared to the granulated garlic. All in all, you should know that neither the granulated or powdered garlic will blend in with fried foods. Both of them have a tendency of burning out really quickly.
