Low carb, gluten free fusilli-shaped quinoa pasta to suit all the needs of paleo, low carb, gluten-, wheat-, sugar-free diet needs.
For a start, we created this excellent quinoa pasta from a naturally gluten free grain with additional health benefits.
It tastes delicious and similar to traditional pasta, or even better.
Furthermore, this quinoa pasta is 100% natural and high in fibre, thanks to the amazing psyllium husk content.
This quinoa pasta also has turmeric in it, which gives a lovely yellow colour to this low carb quinoa pasta while you can benefit from its natural goods.
Last, but not least, this gluten free pasta keeps its texture perfectly even after cooking.
Moreover, thanks to the healthy ingredients it is easily digestible. It contains natural minerals and vitamins, such as magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus and zinc and B (B1, B2, B3), vitamin C and E and beta-carotene.
Place the pasta into a pan of salty boiling water. Simmer for 5-7mins and stir occasionally. Drain well before serving.
You can serve it with a delicious gluten free sauce.
Here is one of our favourite gluten free pasta sauces recipe:
• One tablespoon dark sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon grated peeled fresh ginger
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• Two chopped roasted skinless, boneless chicken breasts
• chopped green onions
• chopped fresh cilantro
• 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
• ground fresh chilli paste
First, add oil, ginger and garlic in a medium saucepan and cook it over medium-high heat.
Then place the chicken, onions, cilantro, soy sauce, vinegar, hoisin and chilli paste in the pan and cook them for another 5 mins.
Once the chicken breast is ready, pour it onto the fusilli.
If you like, sprinkle with peanuts and enjoy!
Ingredients: Quinoa flour, psyllium husk, turmeric
