History of ZWACK
The Zwack Company traditionally was and is still today a family company. The first Zwack company was founden by Doktor Jozsef Zwack in 1840. On May 22 1883, the Zwack Family’s famous herb liqueur, the Unicum, was officially registered under the number 805-071. Until today Unicum is their most famous and popular product. By the end of the 19th century the Zwack Company was one of the leading distilleries in Central Europe, producing over 200 liqueurs and spirits and exporting all over the world including to the USA. The Zwack products were acclaimed internationally, receiving numerous awards and gold medals.
