Fabulous Strawberry Jam Glazed Meatballs
- 1.5 kg gound beef (you can use any type of meat)
- 1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 6 eggs
- Chili sauce
- Szafi Reform Low Carb Strawberry-Grape Jam Mix
- Mix all the ingredients of the meatballs except for the chili sauce and the strawberry jam.
- Shape mixture into small-medium sized balls.
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Bake the meatballs for approx. 30 minutes on a parchment paper-lined pan.
- Mix chili sauce and jam and heat over meadium heat, then stir the meatballs in the mixture, until fully coated.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, serve with rice or fresh vegetables.
Since our Low Carb Strawberry Jam and Grape Jam Mix is not made with crystallized sugar or date syrup (for low nutritional value) their level of sweetness is lower. If you want more sweetness in your dessert, we recommend adding erythritol or syrup.
