My motto is: Diet can defeat Disease

We started interviewing a bunch of different women from Hungary, who changed their diet and lifestyle radically. They managed to lose weight with healthy food and workout. We would like to tell their stories. We asked them about their favorite low carb products. How did their friends and family react to the change. And also about what they eat on an average day and what their workout habits are:

My story


I have diabetes and these low carb products helped me a lot dealing with it. My brief story is that 2 years ago I had a miscarriage, my fetus was only 23 weeks old. At that time, we did not know the reason. Now we did it was due to diabetes. That gave me the jolt I needed to make a change and totally revamp my lifestyle. No sugar, no flour, no potatoes. And that is how I managed to drop the pounds.


I totally eliminated sugar and carbs such as potato, pasta, rice from my meals. Also, tried to substitute them with whole wheat alternatives. I exercise a lot and cycle miles daily due to my work. I work as a professional personal helper with disabled people. Seeing them in a state that I would rather prefer to avoid pulling the trigger. Now I’m encouraging people to overhaul their lifestyle and get on a right track just like I did. My last laboratory test result was so good my doctor told me that it couldn’t be of a person with diabetes. I was overjoyed that I could achieve this much of progression. Now my biggest dream is to become a mother. I hope that day will come soon making our life complete.


My family and friends supported me during the whole time. My workmates were a bit worried because the pounds just flew off but I did not gain back them.
On an average day, I eat whole wheat bread with charcuterie and veggies for breakfast. Later on, for lunch, I eat something light and I have supper at 5pm with low carb food.”
